A very warm welcome to Early Years at Lakes Primary School.

We understand that starting school is a significant milestone, and we work closely with families to ensure this transition is as positive and enjoyable as possible.

Developing a lifelong love of learning is central to our practice. We provide a nurturing environment where children feel safe, confident and inspired to explore the world around them. Through meaningful experiences, curiosity and creativity are encouraged every day, helping children to become enthusiastic and independent learners.

Our highly experienced EYFS team is passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to providing the very best start for every child. We recognise the importance of play in children’s development and learning, and we ensure that play remains at the heart of our curriculum. Through high-quality interactions, engaging environments and carefully planned opportunities, we support children to learn, grow and flourish.
