Our Design and Technology curriculum prepares children to engage with the fast-paced changes of today’s world. This subject encourages independence and creativity, helping students become skilled problem-solvers, both on their own and as part of a team. Children learn to identify needs and opportunities and respond by coming up with inventive ideas and creating various products and systems.
Before embarking on the design process, students have the chance to research, discuss the challenge at hand, and explore possible solutions. We place great importance on testing, modifying, and evaluating ideas, which are essential parts of their learning experience.
Our DT projects cover a wide range of skills, including textiles, food technology, electrical systems, structures, and mechanisms, with students building on their knowledge in each area as they move up the school.
