At Lakes, we believe that Music is an essential part of our curriculum because it allows creativity, expression and develops many life skills such as listening, appreciation, motor skill development and social skills. We use Charanga as a scheme of work which is fully aligned to NC requirements and we match to our topics through school. We also work with Tees Valley Music to provide workshops, CPD and instrument lessons in Y4. Music is embedded into our over-arching topics.
